AI Clipping — Turn long videos into viral short clips

MiniMint's AI finds the most engaging moments in a video you upload or link to, and renders publish-ready clips for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.

What is AI video clipping?

AI clipping turns one long video into several short ones. Upload a podcast, webinar, interview or vlog as MP4, MOV, WEBM or MKV, up to 5 GB, or paste a link to a video on YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch or X. MiniMint transcribes the audio, reads the pacing, scores every candidate moment and renders the strongest ones as finished clips with captions already burned in. Your source needs to run between one minute and three hours, which is the range the renderer accepts. You choose how many clips you want, whether they come out 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts or 16:9 for YouTube, and which caption style they wear. A project costs one credit for every started minute of the source video. You do not have to keep the tab open: MiniMint emails you when the clips are ready, and emails you if a project fails or stalls.

Clips MiniMint has actually made

Four real outputs, each a short MiniMint cut out of a longer video. They play where they sit, and they are the finished clips rather than the clipping itself - which is the honest description, and the reason this section is titled the way it is.

Frequently asked questions

What can I upload, and what can I paste a link to?
You can upload MP4, MOV, WEBM or MKV files up to 5 GB, or paste a link to a video on YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch or X. The source needs to run between one minute and three hours. You must own the content or have permission from the rights holder.
How long does AI clipping take?
Most projects finish within a few minutes. A longer source takes longer, because the whole file is transcribed and analysed before any clip is rendered. You do not have to wait on the page — MiniMint emails you when the clips are ready, and emails you if the project fails or stalls.
Can I edit AI-generated clips?
Yes. Every clip opens in the MiniMint video editor, where you can trim it, change the caption style, add music, and apply your logo and branded transitions before exporting.
