What your assistant can do

Ask what you are working on

Your assistant can see your projects, their status and how far along they are, without you opening the dashboard.

Check the cost before you commit

Give it a video link and it reports the estimated credit cost against your balance. It spends nothing and starts nothing.

Once you agree to the cost, your assistant starts the job. You get a project you can follow in the dashboard as usual.

Pull the results back

When a project finishes, your assistant can list the clips it produced with their titles, timings and scores.

Your assistant always shows you the estimated cost and waits for you to agree before starting a job. If your balance is short, the job is saved and paused rather than lost, and picks up where it left off after a top-up.

Setting it up

You sign in to MiniMint and approve access, the same way you would connect any other account. There is no key to copy and nothing to keep secret.

Claude

Settings, then Connectors

  1. Open Claude on the web or the desktop app and go to Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose to add a custom connector.
  3. Paste https://minimint.pro/mcp as the server URL.
  4. Claude sends you to MiniMint to sign in and approve access. Approve it.
  5. Start a new chat and ask something like "what MiniMint projects do I have?"

ChatGPT

Settings, then Apps and Connectors

  1. Turn on Developer Mode in ChatGPT settings.
  2. Go to Settings, then Apps and Connectors, and add a custom connector.
  3. Paste https://minimint.pro/mcp as the server URL and choose OAuth as the authentication method.
  4. Sign in to MiniMint when ChatGPT redirects you, and approve access.
  5. Open a new chat and ask "what MiniMint projects do I have?"

Custom connectors need Developer Mode, which is only available on the web and not on the free plan.

Any other MCP client

Wherever it lists MCP servers

  1. Point it at https://minimint.pro/mcp.
  2. Choose OAuth as the authentication method. There is no API key to paste and no secret to store.
  3. Approve the access request when your client opens MiniMint.

Your client needs to support remote MCP servers with OAuth. Most that support connectors at all do.
